Pizza Margherita Recipe


Dough Ingredients (Makes 2 pizzas) :

  • 160 g wheat flour

  • 100 ml warm water

  • 1 teaspoon fine salt

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 7 g dry baker's yeast (or ¼ cube of fresh yeast)


Topping Ingredients :

  • Tomato passata (made by slow-cooking fresh tomatoes until they become a purée, seasoned with salt and sugar)

  • Fiordilatte mozzarella (a low-moisture mozzarella, ideal for pizza)

  • Fresh basil leaves
